Please, please, please, let it have a retractable roof. There are too many beautiful fall days in this state to have the team play indoors.

Cmon Strib, check your artist rendering drawing. It has a copyright from 1999. Can you find a current drawing of the proposed stadium where its going to be built.

All of us purple homers just can't wait for the completion of the billion dollar WilfDome. When finished it will be the world's largest and most expensive empty World Championship trophy case ever built!!! The vikings legacy has and will always be their empty World Championship / Super Bowl trophy case and now all us purple homers can count on celebrating another 30 years of viking futility. Priceless!!!

What's the "fun" part? Spending tax money with reckless abandon?

Cross your fingers and hope this whole thing falls through. They're trying the same stunt in Atlanta now. When are people going to wise up?

I am very excited about the stadium. As a STH I am also wondering what PSL or personal seating license charges will be? I have heard anywhere between $2,500 per seat up to $20,000 per seat. I have 3 seats and could no way afford $60,000. Has anybody heard any news on this?

What will the name of the stadium be? I've always liked Minnie-Mo because when I was a kid we had Minneapolis Moline tractors and combines.

This is all interesting news for the Vikings....anyone ever figure that the insurance company that paid the 25 million to replace the roof might want to do a "claw back" on that new roof that will now be destroyed or the hundreds of thousands of dollars that were paid for early completion. Yes those politians sure seem to forget those urgent deadlines. Funny if a private business pulled the roof insurance claim and a year later (knowing or not knowing) tears it down after the insurance company paid for it they would get it for insurance fraud. Just a thought...

How do they play only one season at TCF when the footprint of the new stadium is 80% of the Metrodome footprint?

I just pray that the new stadium doesn't look like a warehouse. I hope it doesn't look like the stadiums in Detroit and Indianapolis.
