If Goodell didn't swing through town, this never would have happened as quick as it did! From 10+ years to done in days!

If its such a great deal as Wilf and the NFL continually say, why aren't they adamant about building it themselves and then reaping all the revenues? Then they can lease it out for those 'other events' they also continue to claim make so much money. Its a bad deal when a 9B/yr industry vehemently refuses to build its own facilities.

Sid deserves a lot of credit for being behind this stadium. He never gave up and kept promoting the benefits to all involved. Losing the Vikings would have been a disaster emotionally and economically for Minnesota. This will help the team's attitude and should translate into more success on the field.

I have read your column since I was a teenager, and that was 50 years ago. You continue to be a cheerleader for Minneapolis and downtown. Thank you!

I wonder where the vikings be showcasing their EMPTY Super Bowl / World Championship trophy case in the new billion dollar WilfDome??? This EMPTY trophy case has gone from the Met to the Metrodome and now will have at least another thirty years of life in the WilfDome. Priceless!!!

Some of you are just mad because the Vikings got a new stadium. I just wonder how many of you will be the first in line to buy tickets. I guess there are more fans then haters. Good day =)

Sid, thank you. It was great to see the fan support for the the team and for the good of Minnesota. Sid, you will be 122 years old when the next stadium issue comes up....are you up for another battle? Go Vikes!

Thanks Sid for all you do. I wish the critics could open their minds just once to the benefits of this stadium.
