Metro home prices rise - and sales do, too, by 7.1%

Fewer listings and a deep well of buyers helped spark an unusually high number of multiple offers during April, bolstering home prices and the notion that the housing market is on the mend.

The price going up simply means more expensive houses are being sold at huge losses. The housing "recovery" only exists in the minds of the National Association of Realtors and the Democrats who are desperate to have an Accomplishment before the election.

It is crazy how many of my friends are holding on to their old houses until hopefully the prices come up more. Just got off the phone with my renter and they are very nice people.

Sorry, not buying it! My husband in in the business, mainly maple grove area. SLow sales for the past 3 years! Short sales for WAY BELOW value only.
