Please don't use the word "monster" when describing anything on this team right now. The monster is the 100 losses they'll have. That's a two-headed monster. Middle relief does you no good when your starters put you behind by 4 to 5 runs per game.

I'm so tired of hearing about Morneau. Morneau this, Morneau that... How about Morneau retires, that would be great news! He has turned into a lemon; always breaking down. No more Morneau, he is finished as a ball player.

Too bad the Twins didn't make an effort to sign Casey Kotchman this past offseason. Whether Morneau is finished, or not, isn't really a debate anymore. He's damaged goods. Let's hope the Twins can pull him aside, and get him to settle a buyout on the rest of his contract. The Twins need a quality starting pitcher to lead the new staff next year. Freeing themselves from Morneau's bloated salary will only help the team.

How many forks does one have to stick into (NO-SHOW MORNEAU) before the Twins admit that he's done...He's been done for what? 2 years?

Maybe they can find a replacement for Morneau at the tryout camps in June.

I've always like Morneau, the big lovable hockey loving Canuck, but at some point this organization has to cut its losses. Morneau is pretty much done as a ballplayer. I don't blame him at all for still trying to give it a go, but he is a shell of the ballplayer he once was and the sooner we all step out of denial and admit this, the sooner we can start fixing this incredibly broken organization. Best wishes Justin, you were a great person and ballplayer and I enjoyed watching you play for our Twins, but I think it's time to move on.

'Morneau Might Play in a Week'...until or unless he gets a pimple on his fanny in which case he will go back on the DL. Seriously, Morneau is a super-talented hitter but he has no heart and he's made of glass.

Have to agree with xlargest, the only headline I want to see in conjunction with "Morneau" is the word "Retires"
