The North Dakota State University community lost an outstanding member of the Thundering Herd. I hope his family will find comfort.

I didn't know Stacy personally, but when I was on the Highland Park basketball team we played his Central team in the St. Paul City Conference. I was second string, and was put into a game for 2 minutes and had to guard Stacy. He was such a great athlete that I might as well have not been guarding him. My presence had no effect on him being able to do whatever he wanted. He seemed like a great guy. My condolences.

I was lucky enough to watched Stacy Robinson house opposing d-backs at the Field House in Fargo. Go Bison!

I was a sophomore at St. Paul Central when Stacy was a senior captain of the football team. I watched him play for a state tournament basketball team, then win state track championships in the Spring. Stacy was one of the greatest all around athletes I have ever seen. After graduation, Stacy -- who had been our quarterback in a wishbone offense -- was moved to wide receiver for the state all-star game that was played at Parade Stadium. I believe he caught a touchdown pass. Stacy, you were amazing as a high school athlete and a wonderful athlete and man as an adult. God Bless your family. I will enjoy my memories.

Stacy Robinson is simply the best. He was a tremedous athlete and even a better man. His loss is a blow to our community and to the world. Tears flow.

I had the honor to meet Stacy when I was coaching football at St. Paul Central. I found Stacy to be kind, and very humble; you would of never of guessed he was apart of two Super Bowl Championship teams. I was very sad to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Robinson family and their friends.
