Not sure why they felt the need to give people drugs....could have just drove through the N side to find someone smacked out or high as a kite.....

... Or just hang out with the Occupy movement. Appears to be a sweet smell of burning herbage coming from the group. I wonder if this means that law enforcement supplies alcohol to drivers to help them "identify" drunk drivers? Offer smartphones to learn about distracted drivers? At what point to we just own up to the fact that a large majority of the population smokes pot and just work together to legalize it and go about taxing it? There's your stadium money!!

"Trooper put on leave as probe of drug-training tactics widens" I personally hope this "probe" widens enough to show if in fact the Police were handing out drugs. And if so the program is halted and the Police leadership involved are dealt with by the very laws they service...NO ONE is above the LAW, not even the Police.

Sounds like we're getting rid of some smart cops: head to where you know you can find stoners, use them for observation, get a return on tax payer money used to pay for keeping peace at the occupy events. Stoners get stoned for free. Win Win for everyone.

Another case of the police getting off when they should go to jail! It stinks - these cops were giving drugs to kids and nothing happens to them for it - I think we need a new Police chief who will not allow his officers to be dirty! To top it off - now, per article in todays paper, they don't want civilians to be a part of any police investigations - wonder why - could it be that the civilians will not side with the bad officers?
