When you watch Minnesota's state legislature in action you get a history lesson as to why the state is so far in debt.

Great vote. Legislators are finally listening to their constituents (and not the star tribune comment section) I heard many senators, including my own in a phone conversation, that said they were getting 10 yes recommendations for every no!

Finally! Work out the details in Conference Committee, Vote Yes, Governor signs, then grab a shovel! Skol! A brave and great decision by the Minnesota legislature.

So the big question is, how come all these legislators are voting yes after all the accumulated negativity. Because the overwhelming amount of support they got from their constituents that love the Vikings. IT was Vikings pride that passed this bill. Is this bill perfect NO. Show me one in the history of the state that has ever been perfect. All those lawmakers that had new ideas should have gone to Rosen 4 months ago with ideas and gave it the due diligence. Otherwise had no position to be randomly throwing long shots out to try poison pill it. SKOL VIKINGS. WHY BECAUSE MINNESOTA VIKINGS PRIDE.

I told you it would happen. This is a great day for Minnesota and the surrounding states. The naysayers and No Fun Police can choke on it!

The Vikings, at this point, would be better off building the stadium on their own. They would be better off building it in Los Angeles rather than wasting one more dollar in that black hole of a state of Minnesota. The fans the Vikings have in Minnesota are dedicated and passionate, but they have become outnumbered over the years by soccer moms. If the NFL is determined to keep a team in that 5 state region for television purposes, they would be better served by building an outdoor stadium in southeast South Dakota or northwest Iowa, rather than reside in a state that clearly believes that the NFL is beneath them.

Don't celebrate yet. This still has a long way to go before it's law.
