Span hits the wall, takes a day off

Denard Span started the Twins' first 28 games this year, so manager Ron Gardenhire said he was looking for a chance to give him a break.

"Skin irritation." "A little sore." These guys are the most pampered people on the planet. No wonder that they have no spunk when things don't go their way. It all starts at the top with the manager. Please dump his sorry behind---he is a total failure.

How come you never hear of guys that skate for the Wild or play for the Vikes and Wolves asking for days off? For starters, they don't have Ronny Gardenhire as their boss. SOFT...
