At lease Jered Weaver has given us a reason to watch the hapless Twins. With the Twins breaking terrible performance records, a consecutive pitcher no-hitter should be the beginning of the end for Gardy.

If I was Jered I would be very careful how he pitches to the new catcher who can hit home runs! The rest will be easy.

Weaver will probably not throw another no-hitter. (Thought it would be awesome to see!) But I do wonder about the MLB record for most official at-bats from the same team held hitless by the same pitcher. Weaver might certainly set a record for that considering our AA-level offense.

Go Twins! Don't listen to anything else your coaches say other than: Throw the ball. Hit the ball. Catch the ball. Run. Put the past behind you. Have fun. Repeat.

"The way I look at it is that we have some redemption due," catcher Ryan Doumit said. "He stuck it up our tails, and now it's time for some payback." -- A 7-20 team shouldn't talk about 'payback'. It should be talking about execution and fundamentals that have been so sorely lacking as to make this 'team' look like a group of minor leaguers. Which too many of them are.

The Twins deserve this dubious honor. Go Weaver!

Who has the pressure on them - Weaver or the Twins??

End the Curse!!! Replant the Trees!!! How about we send 14 small seedlings of Black Spruces to the captains of the team, and let them do a 3:00 a.m. ritual where they burn the scorebook from the games up to now..and plant the ashes in the soil while replanting 14 baby Black Spruce trees. Nobody will see them but the groundskeeper, yet the Twins players will know they're restored the spirit of Carl Ray Pohlad (13 letters + 1 for the team = the # of trees that were in centerfield) into TargetField, and the winning can re-commence. Until then, this team doesn't see the north side of .500 again until those trees go back into Centerfield. Cuddyer is there's nobody left to gripe about the visuals, and doesn't anyone else find it odd that the team played 40 games better with the trees than without 'em? That's what's called a homefield advantage, and these Twins need every advantage they can get. End the Curse!!! Replant the Trees!!!

No way Weaver throws another no-hitter tonight. There's no rocks at TF.

I hope he does it. If does manage to pull off this unthinkable feat, can we just shut the team down for the remainder of the year?
