The first baseman is headed to the disabled list, and the Twins managed only one hit and no runs off Felix Hernandez. Brian Dozier and Scott Diamond are on their way up.

When you have good pitching, good hitting and good fielding you have a good team. When you have a good team you win consistently. When you win consistently the rest of the country hates you. Don't let the rest of the country hate you -- be the Twinkies.

"The Twins on Saturday sorely missed Justin Morneau..." hasn't that been the case for 2 years now?

Wow, the man is made of glass. Cant even trade him at this point

Wow, nearly another no-hitter. Twins looked dazed and confused tonight. Dozier and Diamond won't help that. I like Komatsu, we should call up Nishioka and Ray Chang and maybe call it the Confucious Say lineup. One time this baseball player was sitting on the bench and the coach starts saying, "Germany, Italy, Spain, Britain" and the player looks at him and says, "Huh?" and the coach says... "Europe!" Get it?

Nothing to say - out of words, almost said them all...this team can't really call them a team as that would imply a group with a leader and a cause - Maybe Cuddy will come back? Nah - that probably won't happen either, that's it - now I am out of words - damn.

With the exception of the series in New York, Morneau's efforts this year have been sincere but relatively fruitless. Coming back to hit .230 with a few home runs and RBIs was not what the Twins needed from their first baseman.

Somehow I feel the Twinkies needed more than Morneau to help them tonight. Any recently retired players out there we can sign?

Last year: Mauer out, Morneau out, no pitching, no hitting. This year: the same. Its Deja Vu all over again. The Twins have reached the fork in the road. They should take it.

Might be time just to release Morneau! He is and will be injured through out the rest of his contract! I've been a fan of his for years but enough is enough! Time to move on!

I sure hope the top pitching prospect in next years draft is looking forward to wearing a Twins inform.
