Flanagan: It's time to get our community singing again

There are many plans for a musical summer, so why not resurrect those grand, old community sings?

I want to thank you so much for all the years you have been promoting Minneapolis and especially downtown! On the subject of downtown, it continues to be so dreary looking. How about a grand boulevard on Hennepin and other avenues. Grass on sides and middle, for instance? And how about many more police downtown at night? Thanks again, Barbara!!

There is a LOT of community singing in Minneapolis, including at the parks! Check out Minnesota Community Sings; the monthly sing at Loring Park; and more. It's there, just not thousands of people.
