More and more some on the council want to make downtown unsafe. Ms. Hodges must not go to that area of downtown much, as she obviously doesn't care about people trying to have a good time. And the council continues to protect the huge crowd gatherings on Hennepin Ave that are just waiting to spring into action, and they don't do anything about mobs pouring out of some downtown bars that are then fighting on 1st avenue. And, watch, there will be more group assaults on Nicollet Mall. In conclusion, I want to warn the Downtown Council, businesses downtown and City Government that if these things don't stop downtown, more and more people are not coming to our 'family friendly' downtown.

Occupy has the right to peacably assemble during normal hours, not to camp. They have no right to obstruct the normal use and enjoyment of open spaces by non occupy citizens that wish to use these spaces and don't want to be disturbed by the malcontents that are trying to disrupt the normal activity and lives of average citizens. The .99% are a bunch of spoiled children and shouldn't be indulged.

We can allow peaceful protests, or we can surpress them until a violent breaking point is reached. This happened in Minneapolis in 1934. Four people died and hundreds were injured. Let's not force history to repeat itself.
