After enduring a tough year, Jeff Davidson is on the mend and hopes his charges are, too. Adding Matt Kalil won't hurt.

Now that we've got some youth on the line I hope these guys can stay together for a while and build chemistry.

With the exception of Kalil, and Sullivan, I think the other 3 spots should have open competition. Johnson should not be handed the LG spot, and Loadholt, who had a great rookie season, seems to have not gotten any better. Good player, but needs to have a fire lit under his backside. I believe the pieces are already there, but there is a long way to go. Good to see that the line will benefit, an entire off season, and full camp. GO VIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This should be Loadholt's last opportunity to be a starter. He can tantalize with good play but the failures are glaring. We need consistency. So far he has not demonstrated that he can provide it.

Chip, Missed you man! I like whats happening, but my biggest worry is Loadholt. Even in a contract year I dont see him improving. He has had his chance and is just not athletic enough to play tackle in the NFL. They need to draft a right tackle high next year. Maybe round 2 or 3....
