Vikingpaul, are you my bruda? Hope not cause your pessimism sucks. I like our new players and believe they will not only start but make a huge difference this year. See ya at Thanksgiving ;)

Great job! Vikes get their player and add three more picks. Then use a pick to get Harrison Smith in the first round! This team is better now than when the day started. Safety was their biggest need more than CB and they filled it with a good player. Tomorrow will get better and there may be more trades involved to get the player the Vikes want.

Outstanding start to this year's draft. Spielman stole the show tonight after a terrific media campaign these past two months. We plugged the two biggest holes on this roster and now can start to shift to an enviable "best guy on our board" approach the rest of the way. Hoping to see a new WR or CB added tomorrow.

This was exactly the kind of deals we hoped for. Getting the guy you want and still getting more picks. What is not to like?

Aparently some fans need a big bowl of bran to help discharge whatever is blocking between their ears. Spielman did great in the first round. Every news source and writer has said the same. Of course the kids need to go out and prove it but so far it's looking good.

I must admit Spielman did an exceptional job. Now if he can improve on the balance of the 11-12 picks or more now acquired we might have at least a fun year to watch the games. At least Ponder and AP will be happier with Kalil in front of them. I just hope he can stay healthy.

Time will tell-they both could be busts and having the lightweight Frazier around won't help
