That is totally goofy ! As much of a DFLer I am, I have to say a lot of those NE MN legislators are REALLY oily and always looking for weird sweetheart deals and they are certainly anti-conservation overall. You have to be skeptical whenever they open up their mouth on anything to do with natural resources.

Taxpayers should also have a vote on the wasteful stadium spending, boaters a say in the management of our lakes, why should the hunters get special treatment?

Hunters and fishermen can vote, can't they? We live in a representative democracy, so we choose the people who make the final decision. Don't like it, re-write the Constitutions (both US and State).
