Yahoo! Finally, the legislators have come to their senses. You can gnash your teeth all you want about public subsidies for billionaires.....but at the end of the day, this is the price of admission to be a part of the NFL.....and this community and state are better off long term having an NFL team in it's midst.

Look, I'm cheery that the stadium is moving along, but this feels like Mommy (NFL) told the kids (Legislators) that it's time to clean your room or you won't get dessert.

No more public subsidies for professional sports. The NFL is clearly thriving and can support itself. Let's not be one of the last sucker states to cave to the demands of these billionaire owners and millionaire players. Don't worry folks, pro football will survive and thrive all by itself.

I just want to know how much I have to pay to get the same express access to my legislators and governor that Goddell and Wilf get get.

Interesting that the political party which consistently attacks any sort of public subsidy for any and every group completely reverses course when it comes to one of their own in the good-old-boys millionaires club. OK, I swallow the Republicans kool-aid - there is no better use for our hard-earned dollars than more welfare for the rich - who will now get far richer, thanks to us.

For once I agree with a stadium booster: This really is a "no-brainer" (and not just because of the concussion issue). Look at where most of the state's contribution is coming from: electronic bingo and pulltabs. Talk about an unreliable revenue stream! These jokers couldn't even get a bill passed to FIX THEIR OWN BUILDING, yet they're planning on shoveling taxpayer's money into the pocket of a billionaire who doesn't even live here? Just disgusting.
