These kind of stories are when Reusse is at his best. Unfortunately there aren't that many of these kinds of stories to find and tell. Fun stuff.

Wish you well, Jeff. You are a battler, if that's a word. Great story Reusse; guessing guys like you and Souhan are paid to stir up controversy now and then. Must be as gratifying to write a story like this as it is to read it.

Division III athletics are the greatest. Kids who just love to play, whether it is Baseball, Football, Volleyball or whatever sport they love. No scholarships, no "pro" tryouts, just young men and women who compete for the love of their sport. Nice column Patrick.

Great story! Not to nit pick, but I will. The picture's caption says Augsburg is making a run at the MIAC title. They're 9 games out, just like the Twins are making a run at the AL Central.
