Anderson: Time for reason is short at Capitol

As is par for the course, there is much to do on outdoors issues at the Legislature as the final deadline looms.

After shutting 300,000 small game hunters out of the process just like the GOP controlled house we'll see if the GOP controlled senate will finally start listening. I'm not optimistic that they are up to the task.

Are we going to be able to harvest wolves from airplanes, like Coach Bud Grant was able to do back in the day? We need to get this done! What right do mangy wolves have to deer? Deer are there for human sportsmen to harvest. Wolves shouldn't be allowed to eat what a sportsman might want to kill himself. We seem to have too many bald eagles as well. Is it too late to get a eagle hunt set up for this fall?
