We used to go to Crow (Kakagi) Lake and fish trout in the spring. Now my friends all have young families and can't get away for those type of trips. I wish there was a website to meet other anglers who need fishing partners.

Lake trout! The one fresh water fish that I really want to catch that I never have. Spent most of my youth in MN and WI, but dad never took me fishing for lake trout. Have a trip to MN in June and another in August planned. Going to make them a priority. Cannot wait! MN has such great fishing. Been out west for a long while now and really miss the high quality fishing in MN. Hope MN residents get how lucky they are with the best fishing in the world.

great story! libsrhypcrts: www.lakestatefishing.com has all the fishing friends a guy could need. nodon7: they are hard to catch that time of year, bring good electronics and look for them around the thermocline suspended over 60 - 100 fow, rip-jig airplane jigs and one once spoons tipped with frozen shiners
