Shoot, this will piss off the Republicans. Any improvement in economy makes Obama look good and we can't have that. They would rather see the economy tank and people out of work than give Obama credit for anything.

For a story about home prices on the rise, you may want to use a picture of a home for sale without 'price reduced' hanging from the sign. Just sayin'...

merkin: Democrats purposely tanked the economy starting in 2006 to win that election and the 2008 election. Today they are giving out false information telling us everything is getting better, and yet they have not one shred of evidence that they have done anything to improve the economy. Nice try though!

The foreclosures have to get off the market in order for there to be a significant rise in median sale price. My neighborhood is full of them so I can therefore not sell my home. It sucks.

The only eager buyers in my neighborhood are those gobbling up the foreclosures!

Merkin, I'm a Republican and I want the economy to do great no matter who is in office. Try using logic vs emotion in your posts (I realize since you're a Democrat this is often times difficult to do)

A median price of $135K is good news? Sounds more like bottom feeders are the main part of the market, gobbling up homes in order to turn them into rentals. How many of these sales are owner occupied homes.

More snark from the guy who claims others do it: "Damn Republicans and Tea Partiers with their earmarks! Wonder who's pockets are getting lined in this deal that is twice the cost of the 94 bridge already in place a couple miles from Bachmannville." democrat4evr May. 5, 1112:48 PM
