VA responds to Iraq, Afghan vets by adding mental health workers

The Minnesota VA saying they do a good job at anything is a joke. I been there try ed them. Vietnam vet with heart problem. they told me they couldn"t do much for me. they would give me some medicine,turns out he gave me the same thing I been taking for several years.never even looked at my chart.

All the attention for modern day vets while the Viet Nam and Korean vets are getting shoved aside.More Nam vets are showing up with PTSD after hiding it for over 40 years.We were ignored then and help was not available to us by the VA.Many of us were exposed to Agent Orange,still suffer from that today.And still being ignored. claudia103, I'm not sure where you're getting your information, but at the VA patients are rated on a priority scale. Many Vietnam vets under treatment at the VA still receive priority No. 1. It all depends on where they served and when. If vets have waited 40 years to seek treatment, sadly it's expected that it will take some time before their conditions are diagnosed and their medical history is researched.

still hogwash I was there in 1972 for 30 days they couldn't find my records nothing good to say about the va
