When will they learn to bring up bills individually rather than in add ons! These people are a joke and we, the tax payees, are being had!

I want to kill, sorry, harvest, a wolf this fall. The politicians need to get their act together quick!

The license increase amendment was brought up separately and the do nothing democrats still voted against it. The bill would have increased ais funding by $1.6 million and also increased walleye stocking by 33%.

76% of Democrats voted against protecting and preserving our natural resources and Governor Dayton's own plan. Did not know our environment was a partisan issue.

I'm glad we have a bunch of morons in the House and Senate playing political games with bills concerning the state's natural resources. While they try to push their agendas through on these big bills the DNR is hamstrung from doing their job because of the lack of funding. Our politicians couldn't care less though since I doubt even a handful of them are true outdoorsmen and any consequences from their decisions won't directly impact them.

Would a fee increase also kill conservation licenses? This is the first time I've ever heard this. I like the conservation deal because it allows those with lesser means like the elderly to still get enough for dinner. Pretty shoddy reporting STrib. You should have been on top of it, but instead all you include is a report that the dems "say" it will kill them which gets you off the hook if that's not the case. Well does it or doesn't it!? Is this simply another case of lawmakers giving excuses and the strib covering for them because they're too lazy or inept to cover the story properly in the first place? GET IT DONE!

We should think about having the legislature put on a reality TV show, you'd be hard pressed to find more disfunction and the procedes would solve budget problems.
