He scored 28 filling a void in injury-depleted leadership, but the Wolves couldn't avoid a dubious record.

Darko's career in 3 words, "Strained Right Hamstring"

If anyone doesn't believe the refs handed the game to Memphis they're not paying attention. it's a bunch of bull. players work hard for a win when they're shorthanded and the refs again give the game to the healthy team.

The Wolves have some really good young pieces in place. Maybe they will get lucky in the draft and pick up the remaining piece (or pieces). If a team isn't ready to make a run in the playoffs, a little strategic draft positioning, even if unintentional, isn't the worst thing in the world.

I expected a hard end this season but that’s humiliating. C'mon guys!

expedym is right. It wasn't just that one call, either. It was JJ getting hit so hard in the face they had to stop the game to clean up the blood, but no foul called. It was Gasol flagrantly pushing Tolliver out of bounds right in front of the ref and no call. It was Gasol hacking Pek the entire 2nd half and getting no fouls called after Gasol spent the whole first half whining to the officials. It was the Grizzlies stepping out of bounds, no call. On and on. The refs stole the game from the Wolves. I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt to the officials, because the games happen at a fast past and it's much harder to see the whole court from ground level than it is from up in the stands, but these weren't blown calls - these were giveaways by the refs. Disgusting.

Impressive close to the season by Barea. There will be some roster changes by next year, for sure.

I'll say it again...Derrick Williams is looking like a total bust so far.

It's shocking to me that D. Williams played about 7 minutes last night. I'm a big Rick Adelman fan, but I don't get why D. Williams isn't playing a lot more lately. Even if he's struggling, what do the Wolves have to lose at this point? This is the No. 2 overall pick and supposedly a big part of the Wolves future, right? And he's hardly playing in the final weeks when the team is way out of the playoff picture and half of the team is injured. Very troubling.

PaulTandberg, You realize the Wolves don't get their pick next year, right? They are hardly doing this nosedive for draft positioning. Thank McHale trading Cassell and a #1 pick for Marko Jaric for the Wolves not getting their pick. Their benefactor is New Orleans. That is the team they are improving with this swoon. And Derrick Williams isn't playing because he isn't an NBA player. There are a lot of draft busts in the NBA...the Wolves are not the only team to endure this. You can hope all you want that he turns it around ,but he had one good season at Arizona...not exactly a guarantee of NBA success. Wolves should have traded down.

Been to 2 games this year. Not impressed at all with D Williams. He is young, but the lack of improvement is concerning. Expected much more.
