It is too early to tell with Ponder. However if I had to place a bet I think he was "overdrafted". Just don't see him as the long term solution at quarterback. Injury prone and not the greatest arm. I would consider giving Joe Webb more of a chance.

Funny how Joe Webb saved Ponder's job, with Joe winning that game in Washington. Because you can gaurantee if the Vikings lost that game, and selecting higher than #3 overall we wouldn't be starting Ponder next year! Too early to tell about Ponder? Nope. He's going to be a below average NFL QB that will be out of the league in 5 years.
