And, what kind of legislator is RELUCTANT? None seemed reluctant when campaigning!! Does this 'reluctance problem' only occur when the public says NO to something and they don't have the backbone to agree with their constituents?

This stadium bill is a joke with it's flimsey financing scheme that is completely dependant upon electronic pull tab revenue. I have never seen so much pandering toward an out of State billionaire like Wilf who has done nothing to contribute a thing to this community other than a poorly run football franchise. Kill this bill, it is an embarrassing corporate welfare bill designed to make an out of State billionaire even more money that he will be taking back to New Jersey where he lives and banks!!!

Does anyone else think it's hypocritical of the republicons to be in favor of a referendum on gay marriage, but against a referendum for spending a BBBillion dollars for an unnecessary football stadium???

No new stadium. Because even Target Field is slowly becoming yesteryears news. Slowly the attendance will fall below 20,000 per game. The novelty of a new stadium wears out quite fast.

Recast the proposal to be funded by the White Earth Casino and it should fly through the approval process. Let's get this done.
