Hartman: Ryan not in panic after Twins swept

There are obvious concerns with the pitching and other issues, but it's too soon for broad judgments.

One can't help but feel the status of major league sports in Minnesta except for the Lynx is definitely at the bottom of it's cycle!

I am shocked that terry ryan still thinks he can get away with blowing smoke up our assets and get away with it.

THATS the problem with TERRY RYAN he just doesnt get it.IF he thinks the twins have any chance at all he is really ignorant and living in a fantasy world. i will have what he is drinking what a dreamer he is.

Terry Ryan is not going to panic, clever line. I am guessing that he and the rest of the front office are too busy projecting revenue coming in from the first homestand than the reality we are watching on the field. This will not stop until Twins fans make them put a winning team on the field. I am guessing they will be demanding another new ballpark before you see the team in another World Series. I hope I am wrong, but I doubt it.

What's alright Terry? .500 would be a winning season with this bunch. .500! Wow this club has dropped like a lead ball.

So Ryan is not really saying anything that the rest of us Twins have been saying for months, that the pitching is not only the biggest question mark of this team, but it is quite questionable. Most of these pitchers wouldn't even be on other MLB teams, they are that bad. Now looking at who we have to face in the coming weeks, I'd hazard that the Twins win a total of 10 games this month. OUCH!

Terry's not worried, he's only the temp GM until he gives it up again (Twins rarely - until lately! get rid of anyone (and let them stay on the staff)). The franchise, most notably everyone behind the scenes, is insolvent. I loved the 'oghts' but everyone is justified in saying they dislike the 'noghts'. One further jab: Ron wasn't named MotY until they had to. There was a reason for it.

There is nothing to panic about at all. Because I think we expected the Twins would struggle.I would be happy if the Twins win 1 game in a 3 game series. I don't think they will compete at all and will be lucky not to lose a 100 games. This team went down the crapper really quick and I don't see a light at the end of the tunnel anytime soon.

Emotional rants about the Twins aside, how is Baker not a health concern? Nobody is worried about Liam Hendriks having food poisoning. I mean, I'm sure it's not very pleasant for him, but it won't jeopardize his season. On the other hand, Baker seems to be a real concern, but there is not mention of him in this article.

Ryan and Gardy are not concerned about this team? How can they say that with a straight face? As long as attendance stays up, the Pohlads are happy too. With no quick help in the minors, it will be many years before they will be able to complete.
