$2 million redesign planned for France Avenue intersections

The aim is to make the commercial area south of the Crosstown Highway safer for walkers. But it must be done soon to avoid losing $1 million in federal money.

I don't think i've ever seen a single pedestrian on that stretch of France Ave....do people leave their cars before they park at southdale?

What a collossal waste of money! Wait, it is creating a problem that doesnt even exist just to spend money we dont really have!! I too have NEVER seen any pedestrian waiting to cross France ave. Unbelievable!!

Maybe the reason why you never see pedestrians is because the environment is so hostile to them! Thank you for validating the problem this project is trying to solve.
