Morneau's got the right attitude. Its great he's had a good spring and is off to a good start in the first couple of games. But the problem with the Twins is TR and the rest of the Front Office continues to play deaf to the voice of the fans. We have needed to add a quality starting pitcher for some time. We've also needed to replace Crain, Guerrier, Fuentes and Rauch in the pen. Outside of the emergence of Glenn Perkins as a quality set-up man, the Twins have elected to go cheap. They have not adequately addressed their needs. The signings of Marquis and Burton, for instance, are examples of dumpster diving. It should be no surprise to anyone that the Twins are awful agin this year.

I like Morneau's attitude. I wish Mauer shared the same attitude... but he seems "content in his mediocrity." Mauer's approach: watch the first pitch (usually a strike right down the middle); brush dirt around with your foot with a nonchalant look on your face; hit an occasional single; and eat lots and lots of yummy Kemp's ice cream with your Mommy in-between shampoo commercials. NO drive, passion, or leadership (SIGH).

If morneau believes this then he is still exhibiting concussion-like symptoms.

The Twins will never improve until all the lemmings stop attending the mediocre games at Target field

The Twins dang near got no hit against one of the worst teams in all of baseball. Anytime you have Hughes, Carroll and Burroughs in the lineup you know that this team just plain stinks. I'll say it now, this bunch will never see .500 all year.
