In December, he was coach of the team with the NHL's best record. After that, injuries torpedoed the Wild.

What do Mike Babock, Mike Yeo, or even I know, saying the Mikko is the man for the Mn Wild? Come on, not a single one of us are from the state that has a lot of hockey players. Hmmm, must mean we know what we are talking about! HA!

So with a win tomorrow (tonight technically) and a Tampa and Carolina regulation loss, we will officially be drafting 9th overall. If that happens, I will no longer be a fan of this franchise. I'll either become a Shark or a Flyer fan. Not sure which one yet.

Yawn... wake me when these 2 charletons (Fletcher & Yeo) get the broom.

In my haste to voice my disdain for the Fletcher & Yeo I realized I misspelled Charlatan. My apologies.

I am sick and tired of hearing about injuries. Are the Wild the only team in the league that had anybody hurt?Iam not going to list all the good teams and their injuries but try this,Philly-no Pronger Chicago-Towes at least 15 games Kane-10 or so Pitt-Crosby 50 detroit many best players each 5-10 games. Come on.With the Wilds start they should have made it. Yeo says it is hard to make playoffs, the NHL has more teams making the playoffs %wise than other major sports. He will get another year then the door if the Wild do not make the playoffs. I did not say improve but the PLAYOFFS.We will see if the owner coughs up the cash to get a few STAR free agents or just rebuilding with prospects. Check out how that is working for Edmonton about a five year plan.

cfgfsm you just mentioned a few of the DEEPEST teams in the NHL. Nice try. MN Wild = no depth = any length of top players out will cause loses upon loses.

^ fair weather fans. None of you deserve to be Wild fans. Go throw on your Sharks sweater. Bye.

@hockeyguy07 I've been a Wild fan since the lockout (was an Avs fan before that). I'm just sick of this organization's failure and poor decision making. I'd like to watch some playoff hockey for once since I can't even remember what it feels like. Maybe when the Wild not only make the playoffs (if ever), but get past the 1st rd (highly unlikely) I'll consider giving this organization some thought. Until then, Go Sharks!!!

With as many times the team has called up guys and they have performed (though the years),you can't blame injuries. I don't think anyone thought they would maintain #1 but they should have been able to maintain a spot. I like Yeo but this goes on him.

All year we hear the crying; I'm no longer a fan, going to watch twolves, not buying more season tickets. Well go then, quit posting! please! To many people (wannabe GM's) on hear that just don't get it! Our latest example. "Wild have 400 man games missed". And now were comparing that to a handful of games missed by a few players on deep teams. Really? If only all the GM's were as smart as you "experts".
