That's refreshing . . . Orlando being up-front about what will happen to make room for Mbakwe - just more guys leaving the program! He can maintain his B1G leadership in that category.

I'm sure your insightful solutions would be welcomed. It's obvious you have far more expertise in such matters than an experienced Division 1 coach.

Haha. tbdbitl, You're a funny guy. Have any of you Gophernatics stopped to think what options Mbakwe has. Really, the NBA?? He would have to be a power forward and who can see him playing Kevin Love, Blake Griffin, LaMarcus Aldridge, Dirk Nowitzki, DeMarcus Cousins, Brandan Wright, Pau Gasol, Josh Smith, Kevin Garnett, and so on? That just does not work. No lottery pick, lucky to go in the 2nd round.

@writeon I can see him playing against all of the players you mentioned, because he is every bit as physical (and more in some cases). As for being drafted, he will be able to make a strong case for being a first-round pick next year if he comes back and has a solid senior season. Just last year the Nuggets used their first-round pick on Kenneth Faried, a player with similar measurables and a similar style of play. He played significant minutes when I watched him against the Wolves earlier this year. Trevor can easily have the same kind of impact.

Tubby already had a plan to get Mbakwe back. Don't play Armelin, and he will transfer. That's called a father figure for a coach. This kid isn't good enough, so I will just get rid of him by making him miserable. 99% of all D1 coaches are despicable human beings.
