New basketball format shot down

There is not much balance at all in 4A. Wayzata, who traditionally wins 18+ games each season and is one of the top three schools in enrollment has lost 50 in a row to Hopkins (if you don't believe me, look it up. For that matter, Edina has lost 40+ in a row to them as well.) If they can't beat them, what that quality of program and size of school it doesn't matter what the state tournament looks like. What should happen is that the power schools like Hopkins and Osseo should be moved around to different sections so schools from the sections they represent have a chance to make state over the years. It's tough to dream about winning the state tournament when you've lost 50 in a row to a competing school that's in your section year in and year out.
