Who cares. The season was over two months ago and all they are doing now in ruining their draft position. And knock it off winning will carry over to the next season. Nope. 1/3rd of the team will be gone and no one left has any heart anyway.

slugmccrackn I agree, the Wild have now officially shot themselves in the foot.

this is crazy. no franchise shoots itself in the foot more than this one. fans are beside themselves. you're looking at #2 or #3 and now we'll be #9. worst of all possible worlds. meaningless end of season wins against teams mailing it in or resting their players. this rivals the vikings "win" over the redskins (losing AP and the #2 pick). sorry but you can't be this stupid and expect to win.

We'll since we won't be getting an impact player in this year's draft now we'd darn well better sign some players and make some trades this coming FA or it'll be the exact same story again next year. Granlund won't be saving this franchise single-handily and he's probably the only one we'll see of the rookies on next year's roster.

Coach Yeo when asked about winning against playoff teams and losing against team like his own replied We'll have to discuss this with the players in their exit meetings, how about dicussing it with them during their rotten middle season. He also said he likes to see the fan leaving with a smile on their faces, tonight when I left I saw no smiles because earth to Yeo your season is done on Sat. and you are losing draft positions. Nobody is happy about that except the teams that will now be drafting in front of you. Get a clue.

I had to opportunity to go out tonight, which is rare during the week, and someone offered me tix that had a bit of a discount. I still spent a decent amount sitting in the lower bowl, and having a beer. That said, I am happy they won. I didn't pay to see them lose to see a better pick position come June. Asking a professional to not do his job is simply unethical. Koivu returned, he IS this team, and the team will win most nights when he is playing without injury. Our top three is not bad, and if we had our top six intact all season we would be looking at a postseason. I agree, your odds seem to be better drafting in the top 5 for an real IMPACT player, but drafting in the top 10 aint bad either. If your scouting is done right, and you develop the player correctly, you can have many nice players coming up the pipe. We have around 20 million in cap space this summer. Something will happen.

Thank you nsjohn130 for bringing "sanity and logic" to this blog. Bless you bro...these guys are playing now and it DOES MEAN SOMETHING. No it wasn't against a JV those are the "real" Blackhawks. Dur? What does it mean? It means they can play...and have some talent.

trade51? are you for real? sad faces for a win? against the Blackhawks? yeh right...take your top pick and shove it...I want a team on that ice that wins...night in and night out and knows how to win...those are the teams that win the cup not the ones looking for a high pick.
