WOW, that was more embarassing than the Holy Cross loss, but I fully expected that out of Lucia. Boston College is a perennial final four team and the Gophers have become part time players. York > Lucia. Oh, and our defense really needs to improve big time. Probably the worst display of any team today, but a longshot. Losing pucks, misplays, etc. It was just ugly.

The Gophers were absolutely dismantled! But Gopher fans should be proud of this season-it was a huge improvement because for the past 5 years this program was in the tank. And even better news-UofM students don't have to trash dinky town.

This game was decided in the 1st period and a half when UM dominated the pace and were shut down by a superior goaltender.

No heart and no passion. Why is it that Minnesota teams consistently play this way, whether college or pro? I think it's because you locals accept and tolerate mediocrity. It's very strange to an outsider like myself.

You don't win the silver, you lose the gold! Wait, you didn't even get that far... Too bad your only season highlight was beating the Sioux. Goes to show how much you will miss us when the leagues change.

A special thank you to the Gophers for sparing North Dakota fans from another expensive and torturous semifinal throttling at the hands of BC.

Looking forward to not just next year, but at least another legacy decade or two for The Don Show, produced by Joel Maturi. Wutta winning combination. Best. Coach. Ever. I was really impressed by bottle job/why bother shaving Jake Hansen completely in the bag after the first period. Great conditioning, in addition to the stylin' hair Jake. Love the flat-footedness of Don's squad and brilliant goaltending. Like I said, looking forward to The Don Show for at least another decade or two or more. Great. Job. Don.

BC was exactly who everyone thought they are....and so were the gophs. So was Milnor and so was the bad Patterson. Another notch in the goph's tradition.

What a pathetic and embarrassing display of bad sportsmanship and sloppy passing. And Mattson? How in the world did he get to be captain with so little self-discipline? Pathetic. This is not the same Gopher program I grew up watching. Dave Snuggerud, where have you gone?
