She did what she was supposed to do, followed the advice of good etiquette, and talked to law enforcement about it. It's a very -good- thing she got to keep the money, as it was a bit of a money-grab for them to just decide 'it's got drug residue on it'.

Far better for a waitress to get this money than the cops. Gof forth and prosper, young lady.

Stacy Knutson did the right thing and called the police. If the police couldn't connect the money to drugs or the person who left the money behind, she deserves to keep the money after 90 days.

Apparently God's way is indistinguishable from that of a drug dealer.

Gods intervention? If God intervened, he would have removed money from the earth as a whole.

Based on the number of squads I've seen performing traffic enforcement over the past year it is obvious law enforcement doesn't need the money. Nearly all money except fresh bills from the bank have cocaine residue on them. Glad this ended well!

I bet they were tracking the customers to bust them and the customers figured it out and that's why they told her to keep the box. Better that then getting a pull over, but the cops didn't know about the sting so they wanted to check her out. Good thing for others and her kids to know do the right thing and it all works out in the end. Glad she didn't have to spend 3000 on a lawyer to get what was rightfully hers.
