Intangibles of the role players. While everyone is focusing on the stars the role players will make their moves. The best players need to be the best players in this game but the support provided by the role players will provide the opportunities for them. Every line match-up will be fun to watch. See how many times the gophs 4th line plays against the three lines of the Eagles. Go WCHA!

The Gophers need to keep skating hard like they did in their last games, unlike they didn't in the recent 6-3 loss to No Dak after starting off with a 3-0 advantage. I think they know that though. Go Gophers!

I am No Dak fan and live in ND. My 10 year old son and I went down to the weekend series back in November. By the end of that weekend, my 10 year old (who is well ahead of the hockey knowledge learning curve) said, "Dad, the Gophers are really good." They beat the Sioux in every facet: speed, physicality, team play, goaltending. There is no underdog role to play for the Gophers. They are every bit as good as BC. My only sense is that Bugstad needs to step up. He did not make the kind of impact I would have expected in the Regional. It was nice to see the scoring from all over the board, but in these next two games, you need your horses to lead. Gophers 3 BC 2

boydog - kudos on a great post! Not too many Sioux fans would say such great things about the Gophers...even when they know they were a better team this year. I sure hope you are right. Go Gophs!!

Big game tonight, the Championship game most people think. Let's go boys, this one's gonna be a slugfest. BC is as good of a team as we've seen this year, but if we play our game and play hard for 60 minutes, there's no doubt we have the depth and talent to beat them. GO GOPHERS!!!
