Move Carroll to second and bring Dozier north to play SS.

"Ouchy!" Is Gardy now diagnosing the injuries? And what's with the Plouffy nickname! Makes me yearn for the Little Nicky comments.

Dozier at Short and Carrol/Hughes splitting time at 2B is the best team we can put on the field. Why give Casilla another shot? We know what he is. He is a AAAA player with no upside left.

The Burroughs injury stepping off a bus must be some kind of initiation so he can fit in with the team. You have to have an injury or you're an outsider. I pulled an eyelid muscle just reading about it.

I'd rather have Hughes at 2B. Then again, wait a week and Alexi will be on the DL again, so...

Casilla has the potential to be one of our best players. He has shown it for stretches (just as Span and Valencia have). I want to see him out there.

Let Dozier play a bit at Rochester, and get at bats every day. Castilla is good enough to be good, not great. Dozier is unknown, and 100 games at AAA can only help him. If Castilla goes down again (history suggests he will), Dozier is the obvious choice to get the call, as we don't seem to have anyone else who is even competent defensively in the middle IF. Ploufe is a disaster with a glove, Nishioki (sp?) better never be called back, and Hughes is poor defensively at best- he just looked better than most everybody else who was trotted out there last year. Dozier seems to be a solid glove man, and for a 2b/SS that is the most important thing. Some more confidence batting and he may be a solid big leaguer in the middle IF for years. Been a while since the Twins could say that for a regular there.
