BC is certainly very good, but due for a fall - like Stan Laurel's team at the 1980 Olympics.

And Coach York still has aces up his sleeve! Ace of Dumoulin! Ace of Whitney! Ace of Arnold! Going to be a great game if both defenses show up! No doubt the speed and play making will be showcased. Force the turnovers and capitalize. Fore-checking! Tenacity! Physicality! Discipline! Puck luck! Who wants it more? A team fighting for respect? Or the #1 team that's expected to be there? Upset or destiny? Drop de puck!

The WCHA is still MUCH better competition than BC is used to, the NCAA seeders messed this one up. Go Gophers.

Just like Kentucky and Kansas - two programs with impressive histories and traditions. The bottom line though is talent on the ice and coaching. Just like Kentucky took care of Kansas, BC shouldn't have much trouble reaching the finals.

The fact that BC had to play UMD in its bracket is amazing. BC usually gets a free ride to the frozen four. The Chowds are overrated again, and Goldy's gonna show em what WCHA hockey is all about. GO GOPHERS!!!!

melbo, did you really write that the chowds are overrated again? Do you follow college hockey? Did you read the article that you posted to? Ten Frozen Four appearances and three titles in fifteen years are not the stats of a team that is regularly overrated. I understand your enthusiastic support of UMTC, but do your homework.

I hope Lucia has them ready, this BC team looks solid. We play the same we played last couple it will be a dog-fight with at least a chance to steal it.
