What 10 plants have changed Minnesota?

The U's Landscape Arboretum wants suggestions on which plants have played the most important roles in the state's history. The deadline is April 15.

Buckthorn for sure. Its a destructive, disgusting plant. I am in year 14 of my war on buckthorn. I am ready to call in reinforcements!
