I have found many sheds mostly by accident. At least 75% of the time, if I look hard in a 50 to 100 foot radius, I find the other side. I have 3 pairs that seem to be from the same buck (same style but getting progressively bigger), found on an island in Canada. This winter, one morning, i looked out my patio door (near Tower, MN) and saw one side then the other w/o even going out side, a small but near perfect 8 point set, still bloody on the stems. They were about 10 feet apart. Two days later he showed up to eat sunflower seeds that spilled from my bird feeder, two big scars/holes where antlers used to be. My theory, they feel lopsided when one side drops so they shake or bang the other side on a tree to drop the other. Thoughts anyone??
