Rukavina should have his own cable show...just walk around behind him...would make him $$$$ millions. So geezers need baited targets? He should talk to hunters first. And get shooting and hunting lessons for legislator McNamera from Hastings. Poor baby didn't get his deer and wants to change all regulations to change that. Blind to many things, apparently.

There's a major push by the trappers association to continue using body grip traps on the ground where they are killing our dogs. Instead of fixing the problem the association is pushing ineffective modifications that will not stop hunting dogs from dying next grouse season. They are putting the baited traps 3' off the ground or 7" from the end of an awning on the box. They aren't even requiring the trap to be placed inside the box, the other modification would allow the trap to be placed on trails with no barrier of any kind. Put a hot dog 3' off the ground and see how long it takes your dog to find and eat it. Then watch your dog run with it's nose to the ground. Then put another hot dog 7" inside a bucket and see if your dog can reach it. Or you can Google the "SafeDogMN" channel and watch short videos that prove the modifications proposed by the associations, Rep Denny McNamara and Senator John Carlson will mean more dead dogs next hunting season. Trappers in other states don't kill dogs so why should MN trappers continue to kill our dogs?
