Some of us work six days a week. Shopping is part of what we do on Sundays. Why not allow alcohol sales on Sunday. Don't open until noon on Sunday, but at least allow some Sunday sales.

Now I know how people felt at the end of prohibition! Remember the old song..."Happy Days Are Here Again"?

At least this will make the games a little more bearable. Maybe now they can fill the seats. SKOL!

The only way to change this law is to contact your reps. Also ask your liquor stores to support this change.

Alcohol doesn't belong at college athletic events. If you have to have a drink to enjoy yourself, see a therapist or go to a bar.

Now we will see if the Athletic Dept can manage the implementation of this law at TCF. Anyone who has stood in the long, slow concession lines for poorly prepared concessions will certainly have their doubts. Hey, that will be a good job for Maturi. He has been quoted as saying his best job was at Edgewood HS in Madison where he 'did everything from lining the field to stocking the concession stand'.

Hey Bigtmn, regarding alcohol ....have you ever been to a college football game? BTW, does anyone wonder why the students don't attend the games ... they are out in the lots partying. At least with alcohol inside the stadium, there is a better chance for more attendees.

I bet they have a large beer tent in that area on the open end of the stadium. That way they can control who actually drinks the beer and monitor people better. As for Sundays, its stupid that you can't pick something up. There are times we have impromptu get togethers and I don't always keep my pantry stocked.
