Tom Gilbert is expected to give the Wild more offense from the blue line, and he showed some of that in Thursday's rally.

TG is definitely a keeper.

A significant upgrade over Schultz. I have always liked his style of play. I am glad this local born is on the Wild. Terhaar, Gorg, and others, I just don't need to hear every game where he is from because it doesn't matter as long as he a good, solid contributor, and makes this team better. Now if he can get a certain former U of Wisc defensemen currently playing in Music City, to join the back-end of the Wild over the summer, TG could end-up being the greatest trade Fletch has ever done.

Save the playmaking for next season Tom, we need the highest pick possible.

I knew TG would be great here. I have a lot of respect for Schultzy and wish him well. I think it was a great trade, for the Wild.

Have to admit when Fletch first made the trade i wasn't real excited, probably more because i'd never really focused much on TG's play. Although i won't say he's the next Bobby orr and he's not great defensivly but he's been a nice fit for this team. Love Schultz and what he did for this organization but real good trade for both teams. Sounds like Shultzy is doing real good for the oil. I will say, minus a couple "stinkers" i personally have learned to trust GMCF, and my suggestion to any naysayers is ya'll should do the same. He's got this team moving full speed ahead.. But PLEASE don't play too good the last 5..
