Okay liberals, heres your "jobs jobs jobs". There would have been even more if people could legally protect their property without fear of being sued.

@mn1native I'd rather be unemployed than create death. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night.

@statik: I don't own a gun, but something tells me you can't sleep at night if it's dark outside...

"I wouldn't be able to sleep at night." --- And whose fault is that? I am unemployed and weapons and ammo don't keep me from sleeping.

As a life long gun owner, sportsman, and enthusiast, I honestly couldn't be happier for the recent success of Federal Cartrage. I've always gone out of my way to to purchase both the Federal and CCI brands. However I am concerned about the given reason behind the up tick in sales being the "Obama factor", really??? honestly... really??? Right now, As a gun owner, I have more gun rights then I've ever had when George W Bush was in office. You can site a republican house in congress as the reason, but the fact remains, Obama is our president, and I have more rights then I ever had when president Bush was in office. I was a card carrying member of the NRA for decades, until I realized that the NRA dosen't represent gun owners, they represent gun manufacturers and they are just using us gun owners as pawns. They say BOO!!! Scary man in the White House, and he's gonna take your guns! The next thing you know there are record gun and ammo sales. Just goes to show you how easy it is to lead sheep.

We do lots of shooting in our family. Ammo prices are out of control to do any amount of shooting anymore. Govt. doesn't need to take our guns, just price us out of ammo. Prepare for the uprising...

Every time we have a Democratic President the gun nuts are sure they're going to take away their guns. So sales of guns and ammo skyrocket. Those sales are good for the economy. You would think the conservatives would be happy that Obama has helped the economy...

Ammunition prices started increasing and supplies decreasing in 1992 following the first Gulf War. They never fully recovered, before taking off again in 2002. Ammunition manufacturers are expanding, but still can't keep up with military contracts. Pres. BHO has been labeled as the gun salesman of the year since 2008, and it will continue until he is gone this November or 4 1/2 years from now. However, remember his words to Secretary Clinton and Mrs. Pelosi back in 2009 when they started the charge with the Brady Campaigns agenda: Not yet. It isn't time yet. With his track record in Illinois, his campaign promises four years ago, and his major donors holding his feet to the fire, if the Pres. is reelected this fall more than just our Second Amendment protections are in danger.

Look a little closer at the photo, then read the caption. Looks like the shells are already crimped, meaning they are full, not ready to fill. Just another example of why journalism prepares you for nothing except being eloquently able to write whatever someone tells you, whether it makes any sense or not. Bill G.
