JP is a class act. We're lucky he's decided to stay in Minnesota after retiring. He's good to have for the hockey community.

Tomorrow is going to be fun for the fans who loved the Stars and now feel the same for the Wild. As for the Zach to the Wild I think that is every Minnesota hockey fans dream right now.

Oh boy, my brother took me the tailgate party for Goldie. Meeting and talking with those old North Stars was a dream. Classy classy guys. Wow, sure wish is way that way now. I met JP in the Penny's ha met JP and JP in Southdale growing up and he was so "down to earth". So glad he staid and Tom too. I got a chance at the tailgate to talk to him. What a guy. Does a lot of work/used to for Make A Wish. I told him, Tom you were so much bigger looking when we we younger and he said, "we all were". Gotta love these guys. Have fun guys. No reason why we can't rename them. Let's petition for a name change, never have liked the Wild...those guys in Texas are the Stars, we can have NORTH STARS.

Reminds me of the old days . . . they had a lot of mediocre seasons in there with good ones but they were OUR team. It was all different then. Going to the games and being a fan was good. It is a whole different atmosphere now - if you don't win them all, you're no good. Good article Jim - brings back lots of wonderful memories.
