Moving on is good. After a forgettable season the Wild can finally bring in the new faces and really start to build a team. Fletcher's work, so far, will start to show. Good luck Wild!!!

"he's looking at the next nine days as a gauge as to what he needs to do this summer to give himself the best chance to make next year's Wild roster. Lets see, put on 40lbs and grow 5 inches, take some defensive fighting lessons, wear the best helmet available, get a good concussion doctor and live close to a physical treatment center. You should be ready to start.

5'10" and 175lbs isn't exactly tiny so I think the idea he won't be able to survive in the NHL is overblown. If this team takes a more agressive stance in dealing with cheap shots by other teams, instead of letting players like Bogosian,McLeod and Tanguay go unpunished, the whole team will take less abuse.

Fact check alert- the article says he was born in California, but he was actually born in Vegas. Wikipedia told me so. Just kidding Russo. ;)

Only guys that are 6' plus will succeed in this league. (sarcasm) Give me a break. Guys that work their tail off and play smart do just fine. In those categories Zucker has a lot of upside.

Here begins the changing of the guard. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Good luck "Zuke"! Keep your head up!

Wild are finally moving past the effects of the DR disaster. Should be very interesting to see what the Fletcher era has in stock for us Wild fans.

Just dont pull a Wellman and put Zucker in the spot where he will thrive least! If you want to gauge these guys give them some top line time in a losing season... its a win win either they flourish or they stink and we keep working towards that high draft pick!

We are how many yrs past DR? Fletcher must go, we need somebody who can hire a decent coach and be able to get short term results with the long term in mind. Look what the Timberwolves are doing when you get an experienced coach. Leipold better wake up and get this organization pointed in the right direction. Why have a player play 5 games and burn a year off of an entry level contract?
