Probably best to move the bus stop as the police officer said to do. Drug deals happen everywhere in America and you can't blame business owners for what happens outside of their establishments. Good luck Rick going up against the City of Minneapolis.

I've been in this bar ONCE and I don't smoke crack and I even know that Champions is a guaranteed place to score a rock. I find it VERY hard to believe the staff is as clueless as they claim to be.

for many bars/clubs having dealers near/on-site is part of the "business plan," at least until the violence becomes overwhelming, or the city paper prints a story about it.

Look what side of town you are in. You can see drug deals going down at the bus stop in front of the Big K-Mart. Are they going to shut that down also? Drug deals happen all over that side of town, either live with it or don't go there.

Blaming the bus stop? What a cop out...pun intended. You have to be kidding me. I've waited for the 21 bus at that exact stop before. Yes, there were some sketchy people hanging out around the bus shelter, smoking weed, etc. I got on the bus...they did not. I think this bar owner and MPD need to do their jobs, not blame public transportation for problems at this establishment.

When all else fails, blame the poor bus stop.

If drugs were legal.....you could go into a legit business(like a liquor store) and get your stash. After 40 some years of the drug war and still NO progress has been made. It is time to change course.
