Thank you hockey99 for being the only regular sue fan to spew your rants even after another embarassing loss in the big tourney. North Chokeota strikes again! Can't wait to read your posts next year when the sue end another season early losing to a lower ranked team.

we just have to say thank you to all the SUE fans for their tourist dollars the past two weekends. now with that said, head back across the boarder with your tails between your legs. you got whipped. i wish i could have seen the looks on their faces when they found out they had to play the gophers again. say what you want, but the fighting who wanted no part of the gophers and it showed. better luck next year ladies.

mudcatgrant....Texas football comes to mind. I would put them on par with Gopher Hockey when it comes to percent of kids that come from the home state. Not 100%, but close. Also, I think it is a source of pride to have a team that is made up of almost all MN kids....maybe some fans take it too far, but I think it is kind of cool.

If 27 is hurt it is a good thing it is 2 weeks til l the next game. This 2 week wait is stupid but what can one expect from the NCAA. I still say winning the conference season is more important then winning 2 games in the frozen five another stupid NCAA idea. (money). The people getting mad that a poster correctly pointed out 27 was playing poorly should understand it has never been publicly stated and do not have the inside information that he is hurt. The loss to N.D. the week before was a great motivator for the Gophers.Drive to T.B. takes two days with rooms etc for 4 people should be 1,0000 at most.Go Gophers.

let us put an end to all this. The Gophers won the regular season title and are on their way to challenge for a shot at the National Title. That's all that matters Why? Because they were the best team in the WCHA this year. All this ancillary jabbing back and forth about fan quality, where players come from, who has more titles, etc... is really pointless. When talking about MN and ND, both schools have great histories with their own fantastic traditions. The only downer is that, after next season, the rivalry will be scuttled and that's a shame.

mnhockey99a: For someone who claims to be ultra productive relative to everyone else on this comment board, you seem to be spending a lot of time firing volleys back at a lot of people for the last 18 hours or so. I highly doubt you accomplish more in one day than anyone else - youre here posting on this board aren't you???

UND vs MN had 17,000 in attendence...same for the Saturday night game that had zero MN teams in the final.

gopher1986: who cares where the talent comes from? Look at any and every college sport. Name one successful program where all players come from the state in which they attend school.

Can someone give me the URL of that North Dakota site where all the Gopher fans go to bad mouth the Sioux?
