Isn't Hughes out of options? Thought I read that on here. You'd hate to lose him because you need to keep a 3rd catcher. I like Doumit's versatiliy but if he's not up to being a full time backup catcher you have to question the signing a little don't you.

Revere will be playing LF, Plouffe is the one that needs to be able to play multiple spots if he has a chance to make the team. If the twins are truly trying to be good on d Plouffe should be a bench player, I like Hughes a lot better than I like Plouffe
