The Vikings general manager appears to be putting more emphasis on the draft instead of the free-agent market.

give it up Sid. You know that poll was skewed, as does everyone else. Sure, the Vikes use it 10 times a year, but for what the rest of the use of the dome is, the current dome if fine. Give it up. You aint gettin your stadium.

I wonder how many 3-13 teams are improved by signing guys that missed either the entire previous season or a large part of it due to injury?

Spending isn't Rick Spielman's style? Neither is fielding a competitive team, then.

Rick Spielman should worry more about winning, and less about his "style."

"What a career he had"? Are you talking about the same one I am? Hardly a great career Sid.

Spending isn't Spielman's style? Neither is winning. The 2012 Vikings will be lucky to win 5 games next year. Hopefully, that will be enough for the Wilfs' to lose patience and fire both Frazier and Spielman. Neither of those bums are qualified to work in winning NFL franchises anyways.

I have one question. If building through the draft is the best way to go; then how come the Vikes went from being in the championship game, to being old, and in need of a total overhaul? This under your watch; in just 3 years. Where are all the quality young starters, and all those young hungry studs that you drafted, pushing for a chance to break into the line-up. You can blame the coaching staff, you can blame a hurt Farve, or an over the hill McNabb. The truth is the Vikes did not have good enough players, and no depth, to compete with other teams. That slow and easy approach is BS, and it's not going to fly. Every team that had 10 bucks under the cap, tried to better themselves. The teams that had big cap space, went as hard as they could to be playoff contenders. I have been a Vike fan for almost 40 years, and don't like bashing our team, and hate it when other Vike fans do. The truth is, that you have not done your job. This season YOU have become the GM, and now have no one to pass the blame on. Build us a competitive team. If your "Style" of team building doesn't work in the next couple of seasons, hit the friggin road. GO VIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
