The exhibition of outdoors goods and services that came to be known as the Northwest Sportshow has for eight decades inspired dreams and wonder. That process begins again Wednesday, a good chance to take a look at what has changed and what has not.

Great article on the Grand Daddy of them all, Dennis. Good history on the history and giving your down home perspective. The NW Show! Been going there since I was a kid. Two days set aside to be there again this year. You just can't see it all in one day. The NW Show is another perennial sign that spring is here!

Great memory jogger, no doubt! I recall the archery champ in the old venue, standing way up in the rafters behind the crowd, shooting over the crowd down to the stage at balloons! The retriever dogs were a big hit with us too. A trip to the show meant a treat to the hot turkey sandwich at the old 620 club. I've been lucky enough to work at the show now for the past 25 plus years...this year hoping to see you, Dennis, and everyone at booth #651(Red Door Resort). More memories than one can store on the human hardrive!
